Celsi Jurgensmeier Signs With Northwest Tech Mavericks

Congratulations to Celsi Jurgensmeier for signing to play softball next fall at Northwest Tech in Goodland, Kansas.  Celsi is pictured with her mom (Wendy), dad (Gary), sister (Carly), high school coaches (Shaw & Lawhead) and her club coach.

Reds Strong at State

Friday and Saturday, the Eaton Reds softball team showed heart in their attempt at a state title. On Friday, the Reds defeated league rival Valley 7-3 to advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals, the Reds defeated defending 3A State Champion Rocky Ford 8-0 to advance to the Final Four for the 3rd year in

Regional Champions / State Brackets

On Saturday, the Reds triumphed over Fort Lupton in a windy 18-3 victory to advance to the 3A State Championships in Aurora on Friday, October 20. The Reds were led by outstanding team hitting and the individual performances of #5 Remington Ross and #15 Autumn Schuler. The Reds tallied 17 hits with 4 home runs

Regional Softball News

The Reds finished up the regular season and secured the #2 seed in the 3A softball bracket.  The Reds will host Regionals on Saturday, October 14, 2017.  The 10:00 game features Fort Lupton and Basalt.  The Reds will play the winner at 12:15 with an opportunity to advance to the final 16 the following weekend. 

Another “W” for Reds Softball

On Thursday, the Reds softball team traveled to Gilcrest to take on the Valley Vikings. The prevailed in the league contest 8-3. The Reds efforts were highlighted by the hitting performances of Freshman #31 Alexis Schmitt and Sophomore #5 Remington Ross. Next up for the Reds, the final regular season home game versus 3A powerhouse

Softball 10/3 rescheduled

Tuesday’s game against Strasburg has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 7th at 11am with JV immediately afterwards.

Softball adds two more Wins

Friday and Saturday were busy days for the Eaton Reds softball squad. On Friday, the Reds hosted Valley in a 3pm match up. A strong performance by the Reds allowed for the team to pick up the victory 5-1. On Saturday, the Reds avenged an early season loss to powerhouse Brush picking up a 11-1

Reds advance to 13-2

Tuesday in Lyons, the Reds’ softball team pounded out 20 hits in a run rule shortened game versus Lyons. Over the course of 5 innings, Reds batters scored 15 runs. Junior #27 Allie Hobbs led the charge going 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 4 rbi’s as did Sophomore #5 Remington Ross going 4

Softball Notches Win #12

Saturday in Eaton, The Reds softball team picked up a win versus Sterling 10-5. Excellent hitting performances by Junior #6 Lauren Frink (3 for 3, 1 2B, 2 RBIs), Junior #13 Melanie Fye (3 for 4, 3 RBIs), and Freshman #15 Autumn Schuler (2 for 3, 3 RBIs) propelled the Reds to victory. All around
